Introspection with Dr. Ali
"Do they not ponder about the Quran? Verily, if it (The Quran) were from anyone but Allah, they would have found immense discrepancy.” Surah Nisa: Verse 82.
The Quran was introduced to us during a moment of reflection. The Divine Author chose a specific time The Prophet Mohamed (Peace Be Upon Him) was by himself immersed in deep reflection. There is an important implication here: when we are in solitude with the Noble Quran, we open the doors for a heightened state of reflection. The consistent, cohesive language found in The Quran leads us to a direct connection with The Divine Creator. The thought provoking questions Allah asks in His Book stimulates our critical thinking and reasoning. We find a uniformed outlook with each moment of reflection we spend with The Quran.
We can all benefit by taking a break from our hyper-connective world and find a quiet space with just us and The Quran- the incorruptible words of The Creator.
